Morning Prayer

Good Morning! Just wanted to share something from my morning prayer. Before I get out of bed, I like to offer my day to the Lord, and this morning, I was thanking God for all the good things, all the many blessings. I was thanking Him for Jenna's progress, my kids, this cross that we are carrying...and in that thought, I prayed that although I know the benefits of suffering, I prayed that God would please keep my children safe from the next cross I may need to take up, because it is so hard to watch your child suffer so much! AH HAH!! At that moment, I felt a rush of God's LOVE so deeply! Tears came to my eyes, and joy to my heart. HOW MUCH GOD MUST LOVE ALL OF US! He endured watching His own Son suffer so much more, out of Love for us. It was a really beautiful moment, a consolation, that I just wanted to share.

Just a few thoughts. May God bless your day.

This post is from Missy, sending out love to all!

Missy,

I too thank God each morning before I get out of bed and every day since Jenna's illness I have added a special prayer for her before my feet hit the floor. I have no doubt that she will be well and home soon. Wtih so many prayer warriors how can there be any doubt. Take care of all of you. Here's to another great day of progress.

Missy,
Thanks for sharing your prayer thoughts and revelation. It is truly something to ponder. And to think that God planned the road of the cross for His Son for us...not that it "just happened" and then He carried it because He had to....
Bless all of you. I thank God for the encouraging news on Jenna.

Missy and Luke.....So good to hear about your thought that you shared this morning. The pain you share brings Christ's journey to real life. Our members at St. Mildred are praying for Jenna and your family. I took the liberty of adding her to our prayer list in the bulletin also. I believe in miracles and feel sure that one is coming your way. I continue to pray for you all.....Luv and God Bless you all....Mona Tyler

Missy,
Your post gave me goosebumps. I had the same kind of AH HAH moment right after Nik's diagnosis sitting in the MRI waiting room. I've never felt so at peace then after that moment. Your family's journey is something you will process at some point and realize it was all worth it. Jenna is going to do incredible thing in her life! Can't wait to see it!
Love to you all!!

Missy,

Wow. Neat moment today. I truly do believe in these moments. Great news from yesterday. I know it is hard to leave your child - but you need to rest too. Again, I can be there if you need someone - don't hesitate to ask. I live a couple streets over.

I continue to pray each day. I have shared Jenna's story and have others praying too.

Missy and Luke- My friend is leaving for Ireland next week and there she will be visiting a shrine where Mary appeared. She asked her friends for prayer requests that she will lay at the feet of Our Lady. There is a very special envelope with Jenna's name on it that will be heading to Ireland. I hope you feel her warm embrace during these days of waiting.

God bless-

Missy,

Thanks for the reminder -- and thanks for your faith and your inspiration. You are touching so many lives.

We picked Luke's name out of the prayer jar at dinner tonight. So, in addition to our many prayers for Jenna and for all of you, Luke got some extra lovin'!

Love you all!

Christina

Missy,
I continue to tell Jenna's story to friends and family asking for their prayers. When doing so, I am reminded how amazing your faith and love of Christ shows through even in this very trying time in your lives. As so many have said before, you are truly an inspiration. We continue to pray for Jenna and lift you all up in prayer for strength and healing.

Luke and Missy,

We are following your posts every day. Even my 5-year-old, London, (whom you've never met) is asking me, "How is Jenna?" and wants me to check. While we are not great about regular prayer, we have been praying for Jenna and asking others we know to do the same, and London is eager to pray for her. Even without having met her, seeing her smile in the pictures and reading your posts makes me want to give her a huge hug and get to know her. London says she looks so sweet. I agree. We see a big, beautiful personality beaming through the pictures. Even though we don't live near you, I hope we get to meet her sometime when we're all in Somerset. Know that you are all in our thoughts daily.
