Friday night - 7/17/09 - 10:45pm

Well, we are happy to report another good day! They tried to be aggressive with removing fluid and had to back off a little, but that just shows how good they think she is doing. However, do not mistakenly think that we are out of the woods. We still have a very sick little girl, but because she was soooooo sick, we -- and the docs -- get excited about little milestones. So we are deep in the woods, but definitely inching our way back to the edge of the woods.

So, still on vent, still have about 8-10 lbs of fluid to lose, still praying for kidney function return and still on the continuous dialysis...and still fully sedated.

EXPECT GREAT THINGS, because God has big plans for Jenna.

It's 1:45 on saturday am.....unable to sleep..felt a little nudge from our Lord above...some night time prayer warriors were needed....So here I am Lord.........I pray that God gives you a restful and peaceful healing night. May you wake up refreshed and may Jenna continue to heal more each day. Give strength, insight and guidance to all her caregivers....watch over the family and let them see your everlasting love Lord. In your name I pray...Amen. Lori Clements

Luke and Missy-
I am so glad to hear of the little baby steps of progress...thanks for keeping us updated through this blog.
The thought of you and Jenna is never far from my heart. I know that God has placed you in my heart because I am constantly praying for you all, and the medical staff in charge of Jenna's care.
All my love!
